The Churchill Rose 4L

Why we love it:

• The Churchill Rose is a modern shrub rose which is repeat flowering from June to November and has beautiful, large, semi-double to double flowers in a really unusual apricot colour
• It has lots of healthy, mid-green, glossy foliage which has a maroon edge on early growth giving a welcome flush of colour before the flowers emerge
• It has good disease resistance
• It works well in the border or in a large pot and can be grown as small climber
• The Churchill Rose shrub rose was named in honour of the 50th anniversary of the Churchill College Cambridge

• Soil type: chalk, clay, loam, sand

Caring for your plant:

• When planting, sprinkle Mychorrhizal Fungi in to the planting hole and on to any exposed roots to encourage new growth
• Prune in January or February or by mid-March at the latest – cut back stems by half
